The Pininfarina Academy 2026 – Architecture Summer Course in Advanced Design & DfMA was an intensive two-week program held at Pininfarina’s headquarters in Cambiano, Turin, Italy. The course explored the intersection of architecture, creativity, technology, and movement through lectures and workshops focused on parametric design, digital fabrication, artificial intelligence, materials, prototyping, and advanced design methodologies.
Selected as one of the participating international architects, the experience offered direct insight into Pininfarina’s design culture and nearly century-long tradition of shaping movement through design. Through an international and collaborative environment, the process followed DfMA – Design for Manufacturing and Assembly principles, progressing from conceptual exploration and digital development to the fabrication and collective construction of a full-scale prototype.
